A counting on rare coins in Denmark has never been completed. The rarity markings is therefore not accurate enough to state that only these speciments is known. Private collectors may have similar speciments or even more than the known ones. The rarity markings is therefore an estimate. The following rarity markings is used on coins in Denmark:

Exceptional rare only 2-3 speciments known

RR

Remarkable rare only 4-6 speciments is known

Rare only 7-10 speciments is known

S

Rare for sale. Over 10 known speciments or uncertainty about the amount known.
